‘ Whooper Swans, which spent winter in Honshu, return to Shunkunitai and stay there until the end of April.

A group of deer goes to the seashore and eats the food at the evening. The number is about 50. They may lap the salt.

Migratory birds of spring such as Wigeons, Pintails and Falcated Ducks return to Shunkunitai.
‘ Marsh Tits and Wrens start to sing.
‘ Japanese Cranes return to Shunkunitai to raise their children.

‘ We sometimes have sudden blizzard in Nemuro. It is called eHiganaref in Japanese.
